2025 Men’s Foursomes – Event Recap
The 2025 Men’s Foursomes was held on Sunday, featuring a strong field and some familiar faces in contention.
As anticipated, the main competition emerged from the final groups: Tiaan & Stephan Scheepers, Jamie Franklin & Matt Green, and the defending champions Zach Quirk & Jake Smith. Between them, these players have either won or been part of the winning team for the past five years.
In the end, it was Quirk & Smith who claimed the title once again, finishing with a gross score of 145 (74 + 71), edging out the Scheepers duo who posted a 151 (76 + 75).
In the Nett division, Zac Diekman & Lachy Towns came out on top with a score of 141 (70.5 + 70.5), narrowly beating Glenn Whitehead & Shane Britton on 144 (74.5 + 69.5).
While the course was still damp from heavy rain late last week, the weather on the day was picture-perfect and held up well throughout the demanding 36-hole event.
A big thank you to all players who participated. This year, we introduced a 20-minute compulsory break between rounds to give everyone time to grab a bite and support Benny’s Bistro—an initiative that was embraced by most players and added to the day’s success.
Congratulations to all our winners!
