Chris Webb Takes Early Lead in Atkinsons Air OOM

Chris Webb is the early leader in the Atkinsons Air Order of Merit, courtesy of his excellent score of Nett 65 in the February Monthly Medal.

The major points recipients in the first month of the competition were as follows:

  • 4th February – Chris Webb (Nett 65, 500), Garry Napper (Nett 66, 300)
  • 11th February – Bruce Kunowski (+7, 300), Tom Poulton (+5, 165)
  • 18th February – Ciaran Hallinan (44pts, 300), Albert Hume (40pts, 165)
  • 25th February – Lindsay Ziesemer (43pts, 300), Brett Whalley (42pts, 165)

The Atkinsons Air Order of Merit is a points-based competition, where points are allocated based on overall finishing position in Saturday Men’s competitions.  Regular Saturday competitions see the player with the best score awarded 300 pts, 2nd best 165 pts, 3rd 105 pts etc.  Monthly Medals see the best score earn 500 pts, and Club Championship rounds 600pts.  The competition commenced with the February monthly Medal, and concludes with the December Monthly Medal.
