Mount Coolum’s challenging 18-hole layout sits at the southern foot of the iconic 26-million year-old volcanic peak from which it gets its name, and less than 1km from one of the Sunshine Coast’s pristine beaches.
Our Par 72 course features numerous waterholes and creeks, winding their way through the vast expanses of native vegetation that provides a wonderful sanctuary for the local wildlife.
The Club has a reputation as “the Friendly Club” – with an active and engaged membership exceeding 900 in number. You will feel welcomed at Mount Coolum – whether you become a member, or are simply a visitor to our region.

Course Update ⛳🌧️
The course has officially had over 170mm of rain since Friday… which is great news if you’re a duck, not so great if you’re a golfer!
Unfortunately the course will remain closed today and Tuesday while things dry out.
If the rain eases today there’s a chance we may be able to reopen tomorrow — fingers crossed the sunshine remembers where we are. 🤞
