Four birdies and an eagle in his first eight holes helped Jake McLeod to a one stroke victory at the Belle Property Pro-Am, unfortunately, mother nature decided we needed some more rain and conditions were far from ideal, but credit must go to Todd McNamee and his staff for preparing the course in superb condition under such trying conditions.<\/p>\n
Starting on the 10th<\/sup> hole, McLeod, a former DP Tour Player, came out the blocks fast with birdies on 10 & 11 but dropped a shot at the tough par three 14th<\/sup> hole, but bounced back with an eagle on 15, and birdies on 16 & 17 to make the turn at 5 under. A back nine consisting of one birdie and eight pars was enough for Jake to take the title with a score of 6 Under.<\/p>\n Tied in second place at 5 Under, was Craig Goodall & Cooper Eccleston. Craig Goodall played in the morning and set a great score for the afternoon players to catch, with a bogey free round consisting of five birdies and thirteen pars.
